Welcome to the Nepean Ducks Gridiron Club.
Our club currently competes in the Gridiron NSW state league, Australia's leading American Football competition.
We currently field teams in all three levels of state competition, Colts (u19), Womens (16+), and Mens (18+).
Nepean Ducks Gridiron provides the Greater Western Sydney region with the opportunity to experience American Football,
with high-quality equipment, experienced coaching, and players.
our history
American Football has a long and rich history in the Penrith region.
The inaugural Penrith City Chiefs joined the state colts competition in 1994 and went on to win three consecutive state championships before eventually withdrawing from the competition in 2012.
The Penrith Outlaws (UWS Outlaws 1999-2004) entered the state mens competition in 1995.
They went on to win the division one state championship in 2002 before withdrawing from the competition in 2011.
With the Outlaws withdrawing from the Gridiron NSW competition in 2011, and the Chiefs in 2012, the colts program reformed,
and rejoined the league as the Penrith City Grizzlies for the 2013 season.
Having undergone further rebuilding, the mens, colts, and later womens (2019) programs rejoined the state competition
as the Nepean Ducks and are still competing today.
